Kevin’s comment about Pangu Shengong:
When I first learned the Pangu Shengong, I had a femoral hernia which had been unsuccessfully operated on 7 years earlier, and I was in constant pain while standing for any length of time. Yoga provided some relief in the years before I encountered the Pangu Shengong. 4 years later, I am able to do everything I couldn’t before, as well as many physical activities that most people would find quite difficult. People are shocked when I tell them that I used to be in poor health. What is more impressive to me is that the practice has had a powerful effect on my mind. I feel calmer and happier, and I am much more effective and present in my work and in my relationships.
The reason that Kevin Lennox wanted to be a Pangu Shengong instructor:
I have studied numerous methods of spiritual practice, for both physical health as well as contemplation. When I encountered the Pangu Shengong, I noticed immediately that it was both familiar and strangely powerful. I have had many experiences with the practice that defy rational explanation and, in fact, these experiences verify many intuitive experiences of my childhood. After having exhausted modern medical methods, I found the Pangu Shengong to be an elegant blend of the physical and the spiritual, uniting the body and the mind in one simple action by bringing the practitioner into a state of steady calm and conditioning the nerves to seek out relaxation in every action. I am determined to share it with everyone who is interested in trying this simple exercise. I appreciate the fact that the practice of Pangu Shengong is a ready supplement to any religious belief, or system of spiritual practice. It supports the health of the body by supporting the life-force and mind of the person. It is like a bright light shining in the dark from a distant shore, full of nourishing hope.
