My visit to The Pangu Ranch for Advanced Retreat with Master Ou in December of 2017! – by Amita Desai

Before arriving at the Pangu Ranch I had only seen some photos here and there that were posted by Olivia ; but wen I saw it in its entirety it really blew my socks off:) The grand entrance to the property, the wooden bridge, the pond that came alive with the ducks, the winding road lined with the old oak trees and finally I am at the house…Pangu Villa!!

This ranch house is sprawling with beautiful dark hardwood floors, high ceilings, lovely architecture. It is beautifully decorated with Master Ou’s caligraphies! Obvious gathering areas were kitchen/ dining and family rooms. The house and its occupants are so welcoming and warm with Love!

Master Ou said,” Its OUR house.”

Both front and back courtyards are full of life, created from the vision of M Ou, so many flowers and trees ( some of them fruit trees), so pleasing to the eye:)

Such a captivating scene!

I witnessed a uniquely beautiful sunrise each day during my stay. Each magnificent and told a different story. the colors ranging from deep scarlet to orange to bright yellow; a landscape created in the sky; sun’s corona oscillating like on a spaceship ( that we see in the movies).

At the same time moon was setting in the west; both visible at the same time! @ 7:10 a.m. I was in heaven!!

After the sunrise, feeding the ducks with Mandy and M Ou is another memorable experience. Their connection to Mandy is uncanny. In no time I was attached to the ducks as well:) We even enjoyed duck eggs for breakfast one day!

This is definitely a place to experience. I tried but my words don’t do justice. You have got to go and experience living there, all of it. Just as with M Ou’s invaluable lectures where we hear what we are ready for; Pangu Ranch is the same way. If you are looking for a specific experience, you find it; its special and it is marvelous. If not, then it is still a beautiful property with vineyards. I say go with an open mind and be surprised.

For me, it is alive, vibrant, colorful, loved and a wonderful teaching ground; so much to learn without being taught; just from being around Master Ou, observing, listening, problem solving, witnessing their work ethics; language is no barrier. hearts are connected and sing the same song!

There was no need to look elsewhere. My heart was full!!
