REPORT ON PANGU CULTURE WEEKEND!
By Patricia Pace

Hello All! I just returned from the Pangu Culture Weekend at the Pangu Ranch and wanted to tell you about my experience. From the moment of my arrival, I could feel the peace, calm, and vibrant energy of the Ranch and Master Ou’s warm and patient care for all beings around him. My favorite spot quickly became the front porch from which I could view the magnificent flowers, trees, and vineyard, all glowing with a true green and verdant life force. The energy of the Qi Gong seems to radiate through all the land, and most of the flowers have blossomed for over 18 months continuously!

It is wonderful to come to these family reunions of Pangu students from far and wide, and to learn and practice together. This year Master Ou reminded us of the health and happiness benefits of our PGSG moving form practice, and encouraged us to do the practice with a greater focus and intensity. Master Ou recommended that we remember the first time learning the form, and do it exactly as prescribed to receive the most benefit. As with most practices in life, from learning music or a language, to cooking or practicing our Qi Gong, it is most beneficial if we try our best with a singular focus, happiness, and giving it our best effort with great devotion.

We also had the opportunity to deepen our practices with Group Moving Form practice, Pangu yoga and Tai Chi Chuan offered at the Ranch. It is a beautiful experience to watch several students gathered together passionately practicing the forms that they love, and improving their heart, mind, and soul health. Master Ou offered several lectures to encourage us in our daily living to do all our pursuits with kindness, calm, patience and focus.

Lastly but not least, Master Ou and his family cooked many delicious and nutritious meals for us daily with the same loving care and tireless effort. You must also come to the Ranch to meet Olivia’s new Great Pyrenees pup very appropriately named Mighty! I highly recommend all Pangu students to make the journey to Pangu Ranch for a Pangu Retreat or a visit anytime. It is worth your effort, time, resources, and life!
