Why retaking Master Ou’s classes — By Amita Desai in January 2023

I have been a Pangu Shengong student for 18 + years. I am also a Moving Form & a Non-Moving Form Instructor. I have always tried to attend all the classes and retreats Master Ou has offered over the years in person. Since he has been offering online classes, it has in a way made it possible for many more students to attend!

Pangu Shengong teaching is layered. My experience over the years has been that I only hear what I am ready for and am able to digest. Add to that Master Ou’s ability to gauge that, meet us where we are at with great patience and offer us the teachings accordingly.

I have found great benefit in retaking the classes as it has allowed me to grow ever so subtly each time! As I grow, I ask deeper questions and always M Ou’s responses are to that and more!!

This then has become a very positive cycle of growth!!

I see and feel that in hindsight, so I faithfully continue to retake these classes because I also know that the day I think, “I got this” or “I already know this practice and its teachings; I am good”, I will stop growing.

THERE IS ALWAYS MORE!!!

This morning I attended “Healing Skills” class and sure enough there were some logistics that I knew. However, the experience of the ever-present healing energy from M Ou was mesmerizing!

Every time I formulated a question in my mind, it got answered!! In that moment I learned the value of “PATIENCE”!!

His talk on how life is one continuum and the material beginning and end that we impose on it serves a small purpose but that’s not all there is to it etc. took us on a journey at a different level.

Stories about his visits to Shaolin and Taoist temples and experiences there with the head monks that highlighted healing powers of his book “Path Of Life” and how humility is such an integral part of one’s spiritual growth was captivating. I could keep on listening. There is always a central message or a lesson behind these stories.

All In all, I would encourage the students and teachers alike to retake his classes. I have found them invaluable!
