Pangu Shengong Qigong Cured my Rheumatoid Arthritis – Yang Yuxia (March 24th, 2006)
Yang Yuxia’s Pangu Shengong (Pan Gu Mystical Qigong) testimonial discussing Rheumatoid Arthritis and other conditions.
My name is Yang Yuxia, and I am fifty years old this year.
In the first six months of 1991, throughout my whole body the joints had migrating pains and they were red and swollen as well. At that time the doctors treating my case assumed I had ordinary arthritis. As time went on I was in pain more and more frequently than before. On December 28th of 1992, I was examined at the Zhongshan Medical University Hospital. The examination found that I had “a positive agglomerative reaction to the rheumatoid emulsion.” The doctor concluded that what I actually had was rheumatoid arthritis. I was given a copy of this medical record and the clinical lab results. From that day on, I started my long and painful journey to look for doctors and medications that would help relieve this condition. I saw both Western and Chinese doctors, and I never stopped taking Western and Chinese medicines. In addition, I also received bee sting treatment, massage and cupping. The most painful one was bee sting treatment, which involves holding bees so that they sting the painful joints. In the very beginning, the treatment required forty bees each day to sting on those joints. However, since all joints of my body were aching, later on the treatment required one hundred bees in a day as necessary. Due to the toxicity resulting from the bee stings my whole body swelled up like a big balloon. During the hot summer days, I covered myself with three quilts with cotton wadding, yet I still shivered with cold. I suffered greatly from massage and cupping sessions from a therapist. The therapist massaged my infected joints and then performed cupping, which made my joints even more painful. At that time I was eager to seek treatments and I didn’t think so much at all; as long as I heard about good treatments from others, I tried them right away.
I saw many doctors, took a lot of medicines, and received many treatments. Despite this my condition didn’t get better but became worse. All the joints of my body became deformed, and therefore I couldn’t take care of my own daily life. At that time I felt very distressed. I was so young, but I got this incurable disease and was tortured by the disease all day and all night. I became a big burden on my family. I felt there was little meaning to live any longer, I preferred to die, and I had thought about suicide.
I had lost all confidence with my life. Luckily, on April 23rd of 1998 I was told about Pangu Shengong by Zhen Ziliang and Peng Yantao. After that I got to know Master Ou and started practicing Pangu Shengong intermittently. The first 6 months I didn’t study Master Ou’s books very well and I didn’t have a sufficient understanding about this Qigong technique. I continued to seeing doctors and take medicines as my primary treatment and took practicing Pangu Shengong as secondary. As a result, my results from practicing the Qigong was not obvious. On August 12th of 1998, I was admitted to Nanfang Hospital. At that time I received both Western and Chinese medical treatments combined with chemotherapy. After staying at the hospital and receiving these treatments for forty-one days, the swelling and the pains were reduced; however, the side effects of the treatment were horrible. I would vomit regularly, I lost my hair, etc. My body became even weaker and I had to be discharged from the hospital.
Even so, the experience of staying at the hospital and receiving those treatments provided me a very good opportunity to reflect on all the treatments I had tried, which allowed me to truly realize that relying on modern medical science couldn’t cure my disease and the only method that could save me was Pangu Shengong. Once my mind was made up I began to read Master Ou’s books earnestly. I diligently practiced Pangu Shengong and I strongly felt the energy. My pains lessened. After a while I concluded that taking the medications was useless and that only practicing the Qigong was effective. Therefore, I wanted to stop taking the medicine and just practice the Qigong. I shared this thought with my family members and my friends. They all strongly opposed my idea as they thought that rheumatoid arthritis could only be controlled by taking hormones and painkillers. They wondered if I could bear the pain if I stopped taking the medicines. When I shared this idea with Zhen Ziliang, he asked me to bravely try it out. He said that if I did not try it then how could I know the result. He also reminded me that I needed to do the practice more frequently and spend more time in reading Master Ou’s books. As long as I walked this difficult path there would be light at the end of the tunnel.
After getting Zhen Ziliang’s advice, all of the sudden I came to see the truth and had more confidence. From November 1st of 1998, I stopped taking all the medicines. The half month without taking any medicine was indeed a crucial challenge for me. All the joints of my body were as painful as being cut by a knife; I lied on my bed without being able to do any movement at all. What I only could do was to constantly practice the non-moving form of Pangu Shengong, to listen to Master Ou’s lecture tapes, and to continuously recite “heaven, earth, and humanity in harmony”. At that moment in my heart I truly believed that the positive energy from the heaven and the earth and the essences of the sun and the moon are surely better than taking hormones and painkillers. I knew that Pangu Shengong must be able to save me. Half month later, a miracle happened to me: my pains gradually reduced and I could walk slowly by leaning on the edge of my bed. Thereby I made an even greater effort in doing the practice and reading Master Ou’s books. Through reading Master Ou’s books, I understood many theories about how to be a person and I learned what love is and how to give love.
After a while, bit by bit I was able to work on some household chores as my ability allowed. As I have been sick for such a long time, my husband and my son have had to sacrifice too much for me. My mindset at that time was very calm and pleasant. I no longer took the medicines which I had been taking for about ten years, and my previously immobile legs could now slowly move. That was a relief for me. I deeply understood that Pangu Shengong had given me an opportunity for a new life. From then on I followed Master Ou’s teachings and worked on the five-practices (doing PGSG daily, studying PGSG theory, healing others using PGSG, guiding people to learn PGSG, following the password in being more kind and benevolent). Consequently, I kept getting better and better. My ten fingers which had changed to a shape like an eagle’s claws gradually straightened and I could gradually walk using my legs again.
I recall the joy and excitement the first time I could go travelling again after I recovered from my disease. That moment is still vivid in my mind. In July 1999, my travel touring company organized a trip to Mt. Jinggang for the community party members. I wanted to go, but I was worried that my body couldn’t fully support me because at that time I was still recovering. The trip to Mt. Jinggang would involve lots of hiking and walking. If I couldn’t manage it well there was a possibility that I might slip and fall. That day when I returned home from work, I opened The Path of Life book as usual. When I looked at Master Ou’s picture, I told him about this matter (I had formed a habit that every night before I read The Path of Life, I would look at Master Ou’s picture and talked with him quietly. I told him about my work and the day to day events that occurred in my life. When I was happy, I would share with him. When I had trouble, I told him. I felt so great.). At that time I seemed to see Master Ou was smiling to me, and I was truly thrilled. My feeling told me that I could go travelling. On the day when we set off, I brought The Path of Life and Master Ou’s name card with me. I had a great time for the entire trip which wasn’t affected by my health problem. On the contrary, as I traveled to more places, I felt better and my body became more relaxed.
After I returned from the trip, I secretly made up my mind to take tours visiting the places that I had trouble going to because of my illness. During the second half of 1999 to present, I have conducted tours to Xining, Yinchuan, Xian, Yanan, Shanxi, Neimeng, Beijing, Huadong, Jiangzhe, Huangshan, Anhui, Dalian, Shandongbandao, Shenyang, Changbai Shan, Haerbin, Dandong, Korea, Zhengzhou, Luoyang, Yunnan, Xiamen, Jiangxi, Guilin, Jiuzhai, Hong Kong, Aomen, etc.
Among these tours I conducted, I felt very special about two of them, which were at the same time the most challenging to my health as well.
I organized a tour to Yellow Mountain on March 2002. At that time we took a cable car half way up the mountain and then we walked up to the top of the mountain to the hotel we were staying at. From where we got off the cable car to the hotel where we were staying at, we needed to walk two hours on mountain trails. It had recently snowed and there was still some ice on the trails, which became very slippery. Some people fell down after walking just a few steps but I didn’t fall. At that time I kept reciting the password of Pangu Shengong in my heart, and I recalled that Master Ou brought his family and his students to Yellow Mountain in 1990 and they saw the miraculous scenery in Shixin peak. I walked with light and quick steps and I didn’t feel tired at all. On the second day there were a few tour members who took the cable car down the mountain. The rest of the group and me walked down the mountain, and we spent only four hours. During both processes of climbing up the mountain and going down the mountain, I constantly felt there was a type of force helping me.
At the end of December in 2005, I organized a tour to Changbai Mountain. At that time there had just been a big snow in the mountain as well. In places the snow was about one meter in deep and the temperature was minus 20 degrees Celsius. Rheumatoid arthritis patients are afraid of cold temperatures the most. To test whether I could sustain cold weather, I had accepted the task to conduct the tour to Changbai Mountain resolutely. Since the whole group of tourists comprised young people, we didn’t take the snowmobile but we walked up to Tianchi. When I arrived at Tianchi, I heard the birds were singing and welcoming me, and I was especially excited. This trip to Northeast China proved that my body could sustain cold weather, and I was truly very happy. In the mean while I experienced the love given by Pangu, my kindest father and teacher.
As a rheumatoid arthritis patient, during these eight years, I didn’t even spend one cent paying for medicine; on the contrary, I could normally go to work and often conduct tours to various places. Who could believe that this was possible? Nevertheless, this was indeed the truth. I hope that this testimonial can guide more people to join the big warm and harmonic family of Pangu Shengong and let more people walk on this healthy and happy path.
