Everything in the cosmos was created by a man
That is correct. Everything in the cosmos was created by a man-not by the people of the present day world, but by him: the ruler of the chaos, the genuine man. Therefore the materialists of today who argue that everything in the world was created by people, not by gods or ghosts or demons, are correct-in one sense-but also not correct, because the world was not created by ordinary people.
After hearing this explanation, I felt clearer about some issues, but still not satisfied about others, so I asked determinedly, “If such is the case that everything was created by a human, then it should be said that humans possess the most supreme power.”
“Yes!”
[Excerpt from The Path of Life volume I P. 61]
I find it very interesting that a real human created everything because just that fact brings a point of confusion to many people around this idea of “do we have the power to create our own reality or not?”.
So many live with disappointment because they believe that their good intentions should be enough to create a wonderful reality for themselves. But the Path of Life tells us that it takes much more than our intentions or what we believe or even necessarily how kind we are. The truth is that we are basically only in control of part of our life. We DO have power over our efforts and we can mold our attitude/behavior. However, we are often powerless in what actually happens, we are powerless to the unfolding of events in our life. The potential for creating anything and everything is there, the potential for the most supreme power is there because it was already done by the very first human being, by Pangu but we as humanity are not there yet, but we often think we are. This lack of understanding leads to a lot of confusion, frustration, misery and disappointment.
So I feel lucky to have this very important key, because I used to be one of those people, and I wondered that maybe I wasn’t intending hard enough or being positive enough to achieve the results I wanted. The Path of Life has set me free because now I know how to better work with my life’s circumstances to create a happier reality for myself in any moment. My positive intentions can still mold my reality but not in the way I once believed. Not necessarily in circumstance, or the what, but most definitely in the how. And further more, the how seems increasingly dependent on how qualified my heart and soul is to have those results. So all in all I feel hopeful in every situation, no matter how grim, but also humbled if I can’t get there. And in the end, I can use my inner motivation and say to myself, “maybe next time I can do it”.
